Sakura Blue Studios is proud to present the Writers of the Realm Bookfest  - A yearly event showcasing local authors, panel discussions, workshops, readings, interactive vendors and guest appearances.

No matter if youre an aspiring writer, an established author, a screenwriter, a publisher or just a huge fan of all things books! Our festival has something for everyone! 

At the Writers of the Realm, we welcome all genres of writing, even though we are heavily fiction driven and encourage our local author vendors to provide a short reading of their books so guest can enjoy and get a taste of their work!

We'll have interactive exhibits and games for the fans, a book-ish scavenger hunt, draws and educational panels/workshops that answer those annoying questions in your mind about writing or some of your fav books! Our Day portion is open to the public of all ages with door proceeds going to a local charity.

 

The evening entertainment for this festival is our spectacular Fantasy Bookish Ball! This year the theme is etherial/celestial which we are calling the Serenity Ball featuring Maritime Fav DJ Fayder!!

This part is a ticketed event, 19+ and sure to be an enchanting evening of dancing, oracle readings, contests, delightful desserts, and so much more!

Admission to Literary Festival:
$2 (12 and under free)

Donations go to our charity of choice

Fantasy Ball is a ticketed event:
Tickets: $75 (on sale Jan. 16th 2026)


Note: Coat check will only be available during Fantasy Ball portion for a small donation to our local charity of choice

 

If you are planning on staying overnight at the hotel, we have a select number of discounted rooms at a rate of $139+tax 
When booking, mention you are staying for the Fantasy Ball to get the rate. Please call to book this in.

AUTHOR & VENDOR APPLICATIONS ARE OPEN!

Please use the correct form below to apply for a table at our literary festival! You are either an Author or a general Vendor. Please note that this event is author-driven, and general vendor tables will be limited and curated towards crafters/businesses that fit our theme. If you are a bookstore, publisher or association, please also use the vendor form to apply.  If you are a mystical vendor with items that could be geared towards our Fantasy Ball and would like to have your table stay out during our Fantasy Ball event please reach out to us by email once you have completed the vendor application. There will be an additional cost of $25 to be part of our evening entertainment, but only a few businesses will be selected. 

Note: Authors/Vendors, you are allowed one assistant at your table due to space. If your assistant also wants to attend the Fantasy Ball, they as well will receive a discounted price when you purchase your pass once approved. All sales are final and non-refundable.

AUTHORS/VENDORS please be sure not to send any money until you have received a confirmation email from us of attendance and an invoice. Be aware of scammers on social media and know that we will never ask for money online, or for you to apply by inboxing us on social media. All communication will come from our company FB Page: @sakurabluestudio and email: sakurabluestudios@gmail.com and no one else.
