Sakura Blue Studios is proud to present the Writers of the Realm Literary Festival - A yearly event showcasing local authors, panel discussions, workshops, readings, interactive vendors and guest appearances.
No matter if you're an aspiring writer, an established author, a screenwriter, a publisher or just a huge fan of all things books! Our festival has something for everyone!
At the Writers of the Realm, we welcome all genres of writing and encourage our local authors to provide a short reading of their books so guests can enjoy/get a taste of their work!
We have interactive exhibits for the fans, a book-ish scavenger hunt, writing contests and educational panels/workshops that answer those annoying questions in your mind about writing! Our Day portion is open to the public of all ages, with door proceeds going to the Writers Association of New Brunswick.

The evening entertainment for this festival is our spectacular Fantasy Bookish Ball! This year, the theme is ethereal/celestial, which we are calling the Serenity Ball, featuring Music by Maritime Fav DJ Fayder and an interactive Royal Court cast!
This part of our event is ticketed, 19+ and sure to be an enchanting evening of dancing, oracle readings, contests, delightful desserts, a mystical market, best dressed contest, an interactive royal court cast, and so much more!

Admission to Literary Festival:
$2 at the door (12 and under free)
Door proceeds will go to The Writers Federation of New Brunswick!
Note:
If you are planning on staying overnight at the hotel, we have a select number of discounted rooms at a rate of $139+tax
When booking, please call the front desk and mention you are staying for the Fantasy Ball to get the festival rate.

AUTHOR & VENDOR APPLICATIONS!
** NOTE: ONCE WE ARE FULL, WE WILL ADD YOU TO THE WAITING LIST**
Please use the correct form below to apply for a table at our literary festival! You are either an Author or a general Vendor. Please note that this event is author-driven, and general vendor tables will be limited and curated towards crafters/businesses that fit our theme. If you are a bookstore, publisher or association, please use the vendor form to apply.
If you are a mystical vendor and only want to be part of our Serenity Ball in the evening portion, which runs 7:30pm-midnight, please fill out our vendor form below and select Mystical Market Vendor in your application. If you are selected to be a vendor at our ball, you MUST dress up to fit the theme. Everyone attending the ball is required to be in formal wear or a themed fantasy/bookish character outfit. You will also need a small light or lantern at your table (battery-operated - no open flames) as this is a night market inside the ball. Dim warm lights, led candles or lanterns are allowed, no bright lights as they take away from the look and decor.
Note to Authors/Vendors attending the day portion, you are allowed one assistant at your table due to space. If your assistant also wants to attend the Fantasy Ball, they as well will receive a discounted price when you purchase your pass once approved. All sales are final and non-refundable. Authors & Vendors are allowed to purchase up to 2 Fantasy Ball tickets at the discounted rate. Night Market vendors can also have one assistant at their table and do not require a fantasy ball ticket for the night.
AUTHORS/VENDORS please be sure not to send any money until you have received a confirmation email from us of attendance and an invoice. Be aware of scammers on social media and know that we will never ask for money online, or for you to apply by inboxing us on social media. All communication will come from our social media pages only (so make sure it's us talking to you) or our company email: sakurabluestudios@gmail.com, and no one else.
